Dayspring.com offers some beautiful short inspirational movies that feature images, scriptures and music. Dayspring's mission is stated on their site as, "To know God, to demonstrate His Kingdom, and to help people throughout the world know and share His love by providing Christians with tools of communication that express God's heart in fresh, new ways." They were designed to send to friends and relatives as encouragement, but I have found these movies to be very useful in calming my mind and body in preparation for prayer. http://www.dayspring.com/movies/webmovies/

The Foundation for American Christian Education publishes classical education curriculum and resources based on the Principle Approach® for Christian schools, home school parents, and Christians in general. There are many free articles worth reading, even if one doesn't purchase the curriculum. http://www.face.net

EasyEnglish is a form of simple English developed by Wycliff Associates. Their website, EasyEnglish Info, contains Bible commentaries and other materials they have written in EasyEnglish. They are free for you to download and use. The potential applications of these materials are enormous. If you are working with people who are learning English as a second or foreign language, or learning-disabled English-speaking students these resources will prove invaluable. The Kid's Sunday School Page offers a wealth of resources for children's ministries and Sunday Schools: crafts, activities, object lessons, stories, skits, games, songs & much more. Many of the resources are free, others are available for a small membership fee. I could not find a stated church affiliation, but their statement of faith looks up to standard. The thing that drew me to them was the inclusion of Spanish resources. In our area we are seeing a great increase in the number of Spanish-speaking church services and Sunday Schools. Journey of Faith is a web site devoted to assisting others in reading through the Bible in a year. You can read the day's selections online or have them emailed to you. Selections from the NIV include an OT, NT, Psalm and Proverbs selection. http://www.crusade.org/journey.
Bible in a Year is a similar site offering daily reading by email. This site does require joining the program and program benefits include the ability to ready the scriptures online or by email, track your progress and edit your personal profile at any time, sign up and start on any date, and choose between three different reading schedules and different translations of the Bible. http://www.bibleinayear.org.
